The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 results for 2024, with a nationwide pass percentage of 87.98%. This is a positive outcome, indicating strong performance by students across India.
There’s even more to celebrate! Thiruvananthapuram emerged as the top-performing region with an impressive pass percentage of 99.91%. Additionally, over 24,000 students scored above 95% marks, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement. This is accompanied by a significant number of students exceeding 90% marks, with over 1.16 lakh students achieving this milestone.
It’s noteworthy that girls excelled in this year’s exams, with a pass percentage exceeding 91%. This is a testament to their dedication and hard work. The exams themselves were conducted between February 15 and April 2, 2024. To pass, students needed to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject.
While the national results are impressive, some regions performed even better. Bengaluru students achieved a pass percentage of 96.95%, while Chennai followed closely behind with 98.47%. These figures highlight the strong academic performance across various parts of the country.
